The flying display includes over five hours of spectacular flying displays with fast jets, historic warbirds, helicopters, formation display teams, aerobatics and culminates with the world renowned Commando Assault Finale featuring troops, aircraft and pyrotechnics galore! Due to the ongoing uncertainty with the COVID pandemic and current government policy on large outdoor gatherings, the risks associated with hosting a large-scale international event in July is too significant for all parties involved.

It is therefore with great disappointment that the Royal Navy has had to make the difficult decision to cancel their flagship public event.

The annual airshow welcomes over 35, visitors from across the UK and aviation enthusiasts from around the world as well as many aircraft from allied nations to participate in the extensive flying and static displays. Yeovilton Air Day has been announced taking place on Saturday 11 July. We are the closest caravan park and certified camping facility to RNAS Yeovilton and one of nearest accommodation providers to Yeovilton village.

Yeovilton weekend is always very busy for bookings, with many customers coming back year after year to celebrate. We are already filling up very fast, so if you would like to book a camping or touring pitch, or one of our lodges, please let us know as soon as possible. We are happy to provide information for a back route along country roads to avoid the traffic when travelling to the show. This is a safe route for walking or cycling.
