Similarly, such carelessness and lack of concern is seen through the affluent couple, Tom and Daisy. Nick states that Tom and Daisy are uncaring and absent minded people who believe that any problem which may transpire can be easily solved by their wealth. Through extravagant lifestyle and vast money the dangerous roots of carelessness is emerged in people as seen in Gatsby, Tom, and Daisy.
